- Upsert API supports both identified and anonymous contact types, providing flexibility for various data ingestion scenarios
- Each contact can include core identifiers such as
email,mobile, andidentity, along with system or custom attributes and optional audience assignments.
The API checks whether each contact already exists and takes the appropriate action:
- If the contact exists: Updates the existing contact.
- If the contact does not exist: Creates a new contact.
- If the contact is anonymous: Uses the configured matching rules to identify an existing contact.
