Use the Delete Contacts API to remove one or more contacts from Netcore.

Delete contacts using their identity, contact ID, or filtering criteria. You can also delete multiple contacts in a single request, including a mix of identified and anonymous contacts.

Important Point to Remember

  • The API processes deletion asynchronously and can optionally notify you when the deletion job is complete.
  • Delete operations are permanent. Make sure your filtering criteria or contact identifiers select the contacts you intend to delete before submitting the request.

(Supported "and" & "or").

  • Use and when all criteria must match.
  • Use or when any criterion can match.
  • This parameter is relevant only when you use filtering_criteria.

Used to dynamically select contacts to be deleted based on conditions like attribute values, audience IDs, or other fields.

Used for directly deleting specific contacts or deleting via file. When this block is present, filtering criteria is ignored.
